1. Ramu Anna from Theni – The Millet Maestro
Ramu Anna is a second-generation farmer from the foothills of Theni, Tamil Nadu. Tired of seeing his land affected by chemical pesticides, he made a bold shift 8 years ago—to go fully organic. With no formal training, just tradition and instinct, he began experimenting with foxtail, kodo, and little millet.
“Organic farming is not about yield, it’s about conscience. My soil is alive again,” says Ramu.
Today, Ramu supplies organic millets to our platform, loved by fitness seekers and diabetic customers alike. You can explore organic millets from farms like his, cleaned, packed, and sent fresh.
2. Kavitha Devi from Erode – Honey from Her Hives
Kavitha Devi never imagined she would become a full-time beekeeper. What started as a backyard hobby quickly turned into a thriving source of livelihood for her and other women in her SHG (Self-Help Group). Her raw forest honey, collected without harming the bees, is free from sugar syrups and preservatives.
“People don’t believe women can work with bees. But when they taste our honey, they believe in nature again.”
Kavitha’s raw wild honey and neem flower honey are available exclusively through Pure Organic Zone, supporting her all-women cooperative.
3. Bala and Meena – A Farming Couple from Pollachi
Bala and Meena run a 5-acre organic farm in Pollachi, where they grow turmeric, ginger, curry leaves, and lemons. They use traditional methods like panchagavya, vermicompost, and seasonal crop rotation. Their farm is a model site for visiting young farmers who want to transition to organic agriculture.

Jamal Bhai is known for his heirloom garlic and red onions. Grown using rainwater harvesting and cow dung-based fertilization, his produce is sharp in taste and rich in nutrients. He refused to sell to large commercial buyers who demanded cosmetic perfection over purity.
